(if so say what)(cementation, tempering, carbon nitridation, nickelization, chromium plating, etc) |
|
3 - What are the operating conditions of the part? |
|
4 - Does the coating operate in corrosive atmosphere?
(if so say which atmosphere or chemical materials) |
|
5 - Has the coating to resist to heat?
(if so say min. or max. temperatures and time intervals, moreover specify whether it has to function as thermal barrier) |
|
6 - Has the coating to be to abrade? |
|
7 - Has the coating to screen radio frequencies? |
|
8 - Has the coating to be electric conductive or insulating? |
|

INFORMATION |
Since one processing for coatings preparation to Thermal Spray is sandblasting, the following premises are necessary:
- Bevels will be possibly rounded off;
- Heavy seams may not be removed;
- Some deformations, not always checkable, may come out if part thickness is inferior to 3 mm.
- Recovery of a previous coating is possible after an assessment of the conditions of the part to be coated
Since thermal spray coating occurs by spray gun , the following premises are necessary:
- Possible interiors with depth where the spray gun or its extension don t manage to enter, won t be coated over such a high point as the cave diameter size;
- Thickness (regularity) of raw coating is changeable within 0,05 mm;
