In our reality we refer to aircraft paints as Polymeric coatings applied on aircraft components as spindles, rods and coils of actuators.
A peculiar type of aircraft paint is Polyamide, a high molecular weight thermoplastic polymer coating obtained either by electrostatic application or through immersion in a fluidized bed. Polyamide coatings are produced entirely from renewable feedstock and they are suitable for food contact applications.
Polyamide coatings give and preserve several surface properties like:
- Wear resistance
- Electrical insulation
- Resistance to solvents, oils, greases and fuels
Polyamides perform best when they are mixed with various materials as Zinc, Polyvinyl chlorides and Vinyls.
