On September 10, 2024, the Emilia-Romagna region had the pleasure of hosting a delegation of companies from South Korea, accompanied by Daejeon Technopark, a regional innovation hub focused on promoting technological advancements and supporting the growth of cutting-edge start-ups.

Project Title:

Zocca Coatings’ Participation in 2023 at the Mecspe Fair in Bologna and the Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace-Le Bourget in Paris to Expand Business in the European Market.

Project Abstract:

The project involved the company’s participation in two in-person trade fairs in 2023: Mecspe in Bologna from 29/03 to 31/03 and the Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace-Le Bourget in Paris from 19/06 to 25/06. By participating in these two trade fairs, we invested in our internationalization projects and extended our business in the European market, specifically in France, Germany, and Switzerland. During the fairs, we aimed to connect with new potential clients, buyers, distributors, subcontractors of multinationals, and commercial agents with close ties to the German, Swiss, and French markets to further expand the company’s commercial network in the European market.

Objectives and Results:

The objective of the project was to meet and introduce ourselves to new potential clients, buyers, distributors, subcontractors of multinationals, and commercial agents with close ties to the German, Swiss, and French markets to further expand the company’s commercial network in the European market. Participation in the fairs also allowed our company to increase the visibility of our brand and showcase the quality of our production.

Zocca Coatings has a long experience in coating (ceramic, polymeric and composite) of machine parts used in the FOOD & BEVERAGE industry.

In order to expand the coatings supply in this field, Zocca has obtained a certification of compliance for food contact applications  according to Reg. (EC) 1935:2004 for the chromium oxide-based ceramic coating applied using the APS process ( Air Plasma Spray).

This coating finds multiple applications also in parts which are in contact with the product, thanks to its chemical inertness, very high hardness and the possibility of obtaining extremely smooth surfaces by lapping.
